Ryan Ervin
Director of Venue Relations, High Line
Ryan Patrick Ervin is the Director of Venue Relations at Friends of the High Line, where he oversees all venue rentals for public activations, private receptions, and film and photo shoots. With a background in theatre production and management, Ryan was previously the Artistic Producer at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts. As Artistic Producer, he produced dozens of performances and lectures in the fields of theatre, dance, and music. From 2018-2021, he was the General Manager of the award-winning Classical Theatre of Harlem, guiding the organization through a period of institutional growth and producing all of its artistic endeavors, including two New York Times Critic’s Pick. He has held management positions at Carnegie Hall, the New-York Historical Society, and the Rubin Museum of Art.
Ryan was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, and holds a BA in Theatre Performance from the University of Wisconsin and an MFA in Theatre Dramaturgy from Columbia University.
